after looking at my first poster I created I knew I wanted the font and the image of David's face in the background (like the one from, Nocturnal Animals.)
I still wanted to keep different layers on my poster like this one from Sin City. There's lots of different images all combined into 1 to create the texture and layered effect.
before I added the blood layer this is what it looked like
I liked it without the blood and the luminous effect it gave but I also like the layer effect it gives and how it blends everything together. It also links with the beginning of my trailer when the blood falls into the bath so it would be recognisable across the two products.
But ultimately I think the luminous effect is better and draws the eye in to my poster.
So taking all this into consideration, this is how my final poster looks -
I have changed the tagline to a red font to show its in thriller genre as this is a typical colour of the genre and also connote the blood and danger, I've also added a gradient effect on the ghost so she blends in more with the tracks.
