As I have a Twitter account I thought I would ask people what they thought makes a good thriller film. I've put red boxes and circles over personal information but this is what some people replied. As these are screenshots the first and second responses are repeated in the picture below.
The comments I received were all quite similar and thought that a good thriller film had to have tension and suspense. Baileys comment " when you're genuinely nervous for the characters" was interesting because in some thrillers you just know that some characters will survive from the situation because there the protagonist. So this is something I'd like to work on in my film. a good thriller that does the complete opposite is Eden Lake (2008) as both the protagonists end up dying.
