In my trailer I’m
using a mixture a 4 different bit of music.
The first is called Blow the Man Down. I use this from
0.00-0.29 I liked that its catchy and has an eerie tone to it as it’s an old
recording
The second piece is called Run Rabbit Run by Flanagan and
Allen. This features from 0.30 – 1.24 this is also extremely catchy and relates
to the context of my film as the original version was called Run Adolf Run. I
added a drum beat in the background on the GarageBand App too to make it more
dramatic. This then abruptly ends and changes into the piece of music I created
I made this again on the GarageBand app to fill the gap
between Run Rabbit Run and the last piece. I wanted this to sound a bit like a heartbeat
but also once id tried it a few times I liked the sort of vibration sound it
made. This runs from 1.24 – 1.44
The last piece of music I used is called The Drive from the
YouTube Audio Library and it runs from 1.45 – to the end of the trailer. It
builds the tension in the trailer really well. At the very end when the billing
block and title comes up I skipped to the end of The Drive and blended it
together and noticed that it sounds like
train braking – which again links to the plot and context.
