My Recreation Of The Total Film Magazine Cover

In this task I attempted to recreate the Total Film magazine cover featuring Sherlock Holmes.

I used Photoshop to edit on

I started by looking at the different font types they used and then sourcing the images they used. I used the gradient tool on the background and used different hues of blue and grey to match the colours they had. 

Looking back on it I noticed I didn’t use the white borders around the three images at the top and they are also a lot larger than the images on the magazine. The main image is also a bit narrow compared to the original.

From this task I learnt how to blend the colours and layer multiple images
